About WE Immunize

WE Immunize has gathered a team of investigators with diverse backgrounds to identify state of the art methods of enhancing your community pharmacy's immunization program. We believe enhancing your ability to deliver pneumococcal and herpes zoster immunizations will augment your professional image, increase your ability to recruit the best new pharmacists, and benefit your bottom line. This collaborative effort brings together clinicians and researchers with expertise in infectious diseases, implementation sciences, behavorial economics, and communication.

The researchers seek to assess the effectiveness of educational intervention and regular feedback on the number of pneumococcal and herpes zoster immunizations delivered at 6-months and 12-months. To accomplish this, participating pharmacies in both states will be randomized to two groups: control and intervention.

The study protocol can be found at www.clinicaltrials.gov. The identifier number is NCT02615470.

The study agreement form for pharmacy managers/pharmacy owners/authorized individuals can be found here. The study consent form for individual pharmacists and technicians can be found here.

This project is funded by Merck & Co, Inc.
